TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to ideas worth spreading, world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.

For the last 4 years, TEDxPortHarcourt has fostered the spread of powerful ideas and promoted critical dialog around a wide range of discussions in Port Harcourt. We are proud to present TEDxPortHarcourt 2017: Alternate Verse. This event holds on
Saturday, November 11, 2017 at The Hub Event Centre, Odili Road by 9am.
This year’s theme ‘Alternate Verse’ will cover fields ranging from socio-political issues to self-realisation, education, circular economy, artificial intelligence, feminism, governance, and how all of these affect the condition called humanity. Some of the speakers with ideas worth spreading include:

Every TEDxPortHarcourt event comprises of TED Talks videos and thought-provoking talks from our speakers. These combine to spark deep discussion amongst participants with the aim of causing a positive behavioral change in our communities.
