Keep Walking...... Don't Stop

And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had the opportunity to have returned – Book of Hebrews.

My writing this morning is that of courage, faith and hope. One common denominator in every success story is the ability of successful people to skillfully handle crisis, adversity, betrayal and convert them into stepping stones and spring boards for success.

Keep Walking…

As we progress in the pursuit of living out our dreams and aspirations, making the world a better place than we met it, there will be moments of uncertainty, times where the vision you once saw clearly looks bleak. This feeling you know what you want but you really don’t know how to get there. Simply put, anyone making an attempt at greatness will have dark nights and even dark days.

The question is how do we navigate times like this in the journey of life? How do we go through times like this without losing steam or momentum?

One truth we must accept is that life is a journey of faith. 

When people say Rome was not built in a day or the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step this is what they mean.

Sometimes it is not the vision or the ultimate big picture that matters, it is the diligence that you put into the next step. While you should not lose sight of the big picture, you must not allow the thoughts of how to achieve the big picture discourage you from taking the next step that appears small or insignificant. In the end you will realize that every small step forward played a significant role.

So, in the dark moments, when you don’t seem to understand what is going on, don’t let fear cripple you from taking the next small step. Don’t look back and wish you had not put yourself out. Never look back in regret.

 Look forward in faith. Life takes you in the direction of the image you constantly put in your heart.

Dear friend, life is a journey of faith, sometimes the uncertainties, the twists, the disappointments are all varieties that spice up our life.

Be courageous, keep up the faith, keep walking…
